I'm living in Paris!!!
We arrived last Wednesday, and so far it's been going pretty well. Our apartment is in a great central location, and while I have a very long train ride out to the suburbs (the far far suburbs next to farmland) for work, it's not too bad since at least I don't have to drive it.
Unfortunately I also came down with a cold right before leaving, so I wasn't able to enjoy the first few days of Paris like I'd imagined, and then I had some really bad jet lag that just finally seemed to clear up yesterday. But it's finally starting to feel like home, which it will be for the next 6 months.
I'll have to post more later, but it's actually happening! It still doesn't seem like it's quite real sometimes!
