Wired has a very cool article on the AYBABTU (All Your Base Are Belong To
Us) Internet phenomenon. It makes the insightful observation that companies spend millions of
dollars to figure out what will make people spread sites around like AYBABTU has. It's
everywhere now! Even the media is getting into it.
Here's a nice interview (Update: Which no longer exists) with Hiroshi
Yamauchi, the president of Nintendo. He talks about how game companies are losing focus of producing
fun games, and instead going for graphics. I've got to agree, my favorite game of all time is
Tetris, and it has incredibly simple games.
